New 1911 ...

Picked up a para gi expert on trade today. Seems like a nice weapon. Put some original maple double diamond grips on it and it looks pretty sweet.

Yeah, you were wearing it and I think you said it was a compact. I saw it when you parked and pointed out to cover it in case any of the range ninny's saw it and fussed.

yeah I remembered that after I said I didn't remember.

That was the RIA. Very reliable gun , never once had an issue and has probably 5k rounds through it.

I have read good things about the Para GI.

its a really nice gun for the money, ive shot the one he has, id definitely recommend one. Although for what you're getting, you could get a really nice Rock Island

Some salty sailor needs to lighten the pull by about another 2 pounds.....it is still too heavy for moi...

All I did was polish, if you get the spring I'll trow it in for ya... The Wilson Combat ones are pretty good. You just need to make sure that it fits a 80's series.
