Emerson Karambit...
For those of you guys that can appreciate a good blade you would probably thik of a good drop point or spear point as a good edc. Makes sense huh?
Well I have changed my religion when I got my first Karambit. There are just soo many good offensive and even more defensive uses for the sucker.
You gotta handle one to truly appreciate it.

It would be really foolish to try and disarm an individual with one of those Karambit, especially with the knife's finger loop.

Oh yeah, I agree. I was at Blade this year. Honestly I was never that big into knives before until now.
The reason why I got a Karambit was dumb luck. I was at the 5.11 booth and ran into Steve Tarani (the gentleman who actually brought the Karambit design into the U.S.) and started talking to him about his knives and one thing led to the other and I got one. I then traded my buddy for his Emerson that Ernie had given him.
I'll tell you what, Steve is one mean mofo. The things that he taught me in those two minutes I talked to him will cover my ass in almost any situation for the rest of my days....
